GAIA: GLOBAL AQUANATAL INSTRUCTORS' ASSOCIATION

GAIA is the global association of American AquaNatal Certified Instructors together with supporters: parents, water enthusiasts and therapists using water for health, healing, prenatal wellness, and perinatal health.

GAIA's goals are:

*To make the American AquaNatal method available in every community.

*To provide education about enjoyable safe and effective prenatal water exercise and wellness programs for pregnant women around the world.

*To promote optimal health during the perinatal experience and the use of water as a comfortable, safe and therapeutic environment.

*To effectively train instructors in the American AquaNatal method, and provide them with opportunities to further their own learning and maturation in the work with relevant resources, reading lists, literature up dates, and periodic conferences.

*To operate a web site that promotes the American Aquanatal method, information about instructors and classes available during pregnancy.

*To provide a communication link between American AquaNatal Certified Instructors and with supporters: parents, water enthusiasts and therapists using water for health, healing, prenatal wellness, and perinatal health.

*To serve as a clearing house for information about AquaNatal around the world.
